This program allows the participant to get the basics of the states guidebook while informing the student with needed knowledge for the state required written test and road skills test. 

Tuition & Choices:

A. $295.00; Basic Pre-Licensing Course

Typical Competitive Adult Driver Education Course. Includes only the 6hr classroom and the 8hrs behind-the-wheel training. Great for those who want to apply for a learner's permit only or don't mind paying an additional fee later to use our vehicle to take the states road skills test. (SEE CHOICES BELOW)EEE 

B. $345.00; Better Pre-Licensing Upgrade

Same as Basic Choice above. But includes an upgrade of thea required road skills test, to be scheduled right after the last behind-the-wheel training.

 

C. $450.00; Best Pre-Licensing Offer

Same as Better Choice B, above. However depending on students availability and limited students per class date, we can guarantee 7 days completion. Suggest student to completed payment and schedule behind-the-wheel schedule prior to taking first day of course. Must call (985)643-7803.

NEW "DMV" REQUIREMENTS

MUST APPLY FOR A TEMPORARY INSTRUCTIONAL PERMIT (TIP) BY GOING TO THE STATE OFFICE OF MOTOR VEHICLES (OMV) IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A LOUISIANA STATE DRIVER'S LICENSE OR LEARNER'S PERMIT NO MATTER WHAT AGE.

READ:  BEFORE ATTENDING ANY OF THE REQUIRED COURSES THAT ALLOW YOU TO APPLY FOR A DRIVER'S LICENSE OR LEARNER'S PERMIT... 

Must go to the Office of Motor Vehicles and obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) for Driver's Education.

ADULT STUDENTS (18 years old and older)

  • Original or State Certified Birth Certificate (no photocopies) and another primary document or two secondary forms of identification (Please see Policy 6.00 under Section 1 Driver Licenses. For Aliens Temporarily Residing in Louisiana see Policy 6.02

  • Social Security Card

  • Proof of residence (Two proof of residences if applying for a Real ID)

Note: If an adult has a valid Louisiana State ID already issued and their Social Security Number is in OMV's system, then only the ID and Proof of Residency is needed.
