Our driving school is a Third-Party Examiner and Tester for the State of Louisiana, Office of Motor Vehicle's road test (skill test) for a class "D" and "E" license.

Fees include use of driver education vehicle. We do not test in vehicles provided by the applicant. All applicants that want to use their own vehicle must go to the OMV office. All applicant fees include a vehicle user fee.

Automatic Failures Include:

• Run a red light
• Incomplete stop at stop sign
• Cause an accident that is your fault
• Cause an incident
• Refusing to obey instructions
• Speeding

Other things to expect:

• Be able to perform a couple of lane changes in traffic
• Perpendicular (straight) parking
• Backing out of a parking space
• Turn into the closes lane
• Railroad safety

 What is needed to take the road test with us?

1. Learner's Permit  or
2. A Test History Form

When can you take the road test (most people don't realize this)

1.  Anytime after obtaining a state Learner's Permit (15 years of age and older) ¹
2. After passing the "written" test at the Office of Motor Vehicles (17 years of age and older) 

The Following Apply:

• Proof of passing the "written" test issued by the state office of motor vehicle (DMV) *
• Identification: One of the following: learner's permit, state identification card, social security card, "green-card", passport
• OMV and Driving School Disclosures must be signed
• Applicants under the age of 18 years old, must have parent be present with proper identification.
• Test includes use of driving school automatic vehicles, vehicle insurance.
• We will test in inclement weather (severe weather exceptions)
• Reservation encouraged, but may not be necessary
• Testing may be made available evenings and weekends too

*This is provided by having obtained from the state a current Learners Permit or a Test History Form.
